Stow Historical Society Board of Trustees met Monday, June 13th at 7 p.m. at Stow City Hall. All board members and one guest were present. Topics discussed included upcoming programming, square dance, Harvest Festival, and school tours. It was noted that we are in need of reliable volunteers to implement a successful Harvest Festival. We are in need of someone to coordinate parking during the festival. It was proposed that the small barn be cleaned out and unneeded items be sold at the Harvest Festival. If you are interested in coordinating parking or pricing items and running a rummage sale at the Festival, please contact Board President John Baranek at 330-689-2852. All proceeds will benefit the Society. A proposal is also being considered to change the time of year for school tours. These topics will be discussed at the next member meeting.
