Over 30 members and guests enjoyed a presentation by speaker Mary McClure, author of recently published Silver Lake Park, Using images from her book, Mary discussed the history of one of the longest-running and popular amusement parks of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Member Houston Morgan shared his photo album and memories of his father’s boy scout troop camping on the shores of nearby Crystal Lake.
