Stow Historical Society Board of Trustees met July 8, 2013 at the Menke home for a working meeting. Present were John Baranek, Howard Corathers, LaVerne Corathers John Daugherty,  Beth Daugherty, Bob Flower, Marcia Gilmore, and Tammie Menke. Board members dismantled the July 4th parade float and discussed several items, including the weeding of the grounds around the historic homes, the Harvest Festival, and maintenance of the archives. Bob Flower presented a report on the status of the Stewart School move. Much work has been done by members and volunteers in preparation of moving the school to Heritage Reserve Park. Our next member meeting will take place  Monday, August 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Heritage Barn in Heritage Reserve park at Silver Springs. This is our annual picnic and attendees are asked to bring their own table service and a dish to share. Meat, drinks, and rolls will be provided.
